How the work runs

Scoping
A conversation about the problem, then a written summary of what we understood. If we have misunderstood it, this is the cheap place to find out.

Proposal
Scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions and commercial terms, in writing. Nothing starts before both sides have signed it.

Delivery
Work in increments, each ending in something that runs. Progress is visible in the repository rather than described in a status report.

Handover
Code, documentation, credentials and runbooks transferred to the client, with a working session for the team that will operate it.
Enquiries are read during Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 Eastern European Time (EET/EEST, UTC+2/+3). We publish office hours rather than a promised response time, because a response-time claim would need measurement behind it and we do not publish figures we cannot show you the method for.
The client owns the result
Source code, documentation and infrastructure configuration are delivered to the client and licensed to the client. We do not hold a deliverable hostage to a support contract, and we write the exit route into the design.
No vendor commission
We take no referral fee, rebate or commission from any software or cloud vendor. A recommendation to keep what you have, or to buy nothing, costs us the same as any other.
Scope in writing before work
Every engagement begins with an agreed written scope that names the deliverables, the assumptions and the exclusions. Changes are agreed in writing too, before they are built.
Business-to-business only
We contract with organisations, on business terms. We do not sell to consumers and we do not run a consumer support desk — see the scope exclusions on the terms page.

What we do not do
Published so that nobody spends time on an enquiry we would decline, and so that there is no doubt about what kind of business this is.
- We do not provide technical support to consumers, and we do not service equipment or software belonging to the general public.
- We do not offer password recovery, account recovery or credential reset services for accounts we do not administer under a signed contract.
- We do not offer remote desktop repair, device clean-up, virus removal or any similar consumer break-fix service.
- We are not affiliated with, and we do not act as an authorised support channel for, Microsoft, Apple, Google or any other software vendor.
- We do not accept work for gambling, adult content, tobacco or vaping, weapons, or multi-level marketing businesses.
- We do not build or operate systems that give investment, tax, legal or medical advice to the public, and we do not offer such advice ourselves.
- We do not resell, sublicense or supply third-party software licences.
In short
This is a business-to-business management consultancy. We contract with organisations, under a signed agreement, for work with named deliverables.
If you are a member of the public looking for help with a personal device, an account you cannot get into, or software you bought somewhere else, we are not the right people and we would only send you away. Please contact the vendor of the product directly.
